Tuesday:
Test Today! So get ready.
Sad Plastic
But first, please read the short article and be ready to respond.

Thursday:
Today we will be going over the tests you just took as well as the Unit 6 Test. And you will be given a chance to make up some points on the Unit 6 test since it turned out to be a little harder than expected. Below you will find the test with correct answers and an explanation to each answer. Handwrite the question, correct answer and the explanation to each question you got wrong and I will give you back half the points you missed on the test. Send me a photo of your work anytime over break for credit.

For those of you who missed hearing explanations of the Unit 11: Pollution test, the key is below to compare your answers to.

Also, today we will do a refresher course on using microscopes. After you return from break we will be doing a lab dealing with water purity and pollution based on living organisms. You will be using the microscopes for the lab so today I wanted to go over parts, functions, and processes for using the m-scopes in class.
Microscope Review

As for break, yes you do have some work to do. We will be doing some reviewing of recent material. We will be focusing on Human Health and Pollution. Each of you will be teamed up for completing the review section from one of three chapters. In your groups, once given a selected chapter you must complete a google document that covers the Review Questions, the Critical Thinking Questions, and one Projects section activity. This is a large task. You cannot wait until next weekend to try and finish it. Also, I want you working with your peers, collaborating, and checking each others work. Do not just assign each a section and hope for the best, then put blame on someone when you are not happy with the final document. Call each other, text, or email to work this stuff out. You will benefit much more from this activity if you do so. Below are the groups and the PDF chapters for you to copy. Download all for your personal notes. The groups are as follows:

Risk Assessment: Air Pollution: Water Pollution:
Jenny Maribeth Geoffrey
McKenna Karis Nick
Ciera Katrina Michaela
Eve Dani Victoria
